General Terms and Conditions of Use
Last updated: October 2026
The German version is the legally binding one; translations are provided for convenience.
1. Scope & provider
These terms apply to the use of the “chatFlow” software (the “app”), its associated cloud services and the website. The provider is International Talents LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, email: [email protected] (“we”).
2. Description of services
chatFlow is a desktop application (macOS and Windows) for voice and productivity: dictation with automatic formatting, translation, AI-assisted writing, emojis, dictionaries, text snippets, timers and flashcards. Local models run offline and are included in the subscription; cloud-based features are billed through a credit system. The specific scope of features follows from the product description in force at the time. On the “Agency” plan, each agency has 5 GB of shared storage for its content. When it is full, no new images are stored until owners or admins delete the oldest images; nothing is deleted without their action.
chatFlow runs on macOS 14.0 and later on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later); Macs with an Intel processor are not supported. An internet connection is required for your account, billing and all cloud features; local models work offline. A Windows version is in development and not yet available.
3. Account & registration
An account is required for paid and cloud-based features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
4. Subscriptions & term
chatFlow is offered as a subscription in the tiers Solo, Pro and Agency (billed monthly). The subscription renews automatically for a further month unless cancelled before it ends. You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period; paid features cease thereafter.
5. Credits
Cloud features consume credits. Every subscription includes a monthly credit allowance; additional credit packages (“top-ups”) can be purchased. Credits are purely a usage balance (“closed loop”): they do not constitute e-money, are not redeemable for cash (except for the refund under section 6a paragraph 5) and are not transferable. Monthly credits included in a subscription expire at the end of the period and do not carry over; purchased top-up credits remain as long as the account is active.
6. Prices & payment
The prices displayed at the time of ordering apply, including statutory taxes. Payment processing is handled by our payment partner Stripe, acting as “merchant of record” and remitting VAT. We remain the seller and your contracting party. Stripe’s terms may additionally apply to the payment process. Invoices are provided electronically.
Access to the paid features is enabled immediately after payment is received. You start a purchased voice training yourself; processing usually takes one to two hours.
6a. How prices, monthly credits and credit rates can change
(1) What applies to you. Your subscription is governed by the monthly price and the number of monthly credits shown to you when you ordered it. Cloud features are governed by the number of credits per operation (credit rate) that applied on the day of that order. These change only in accordance with paragraphs 2 to 5.
(2) Improvements and new features. If we lower a price or a credit rate, or increase the number of monthly credits, this applies to you immediately. A new feature gets its own credit rate; it is shown to you before you use the feature for the first time.
(3) Changes to your disadvantage only with your consent. If we want to raise the monthly price of your subscription, reduce the number of your monthly credits or raise a credit rate, we offer you the change. You receive the offer by email and in the app. It states the previous and the new value, the reason for the change and your effective date. Your effective date is the start of your first billing period that begins at least 30 days after you receive the offer. You can accept the offer up to the day before your effective date. The change applies to you only if you expressly accept it, and then from your effective date. Silence, continued payment or continued use is not consent.
(4) If you do not accept. One of two consequences then applies; the offer states which. Either your subscription continues at the previous price, with the previous monthly credits and the previous credit rates. Or we terminate your subscription together with the offer by ordinary notice under section 11, effective at the end of the billing period before your effective date; if you accept in time, the termination lapses. Until then nothing changes for you. You yourself can cancel at any time effective at the end of the current billing period.
(5) Purchased credits. Credits from packages you bought before your effective date keep the credit rates that applied to you on the day of purchase until those credits are used up — even if you accept the increase. If your subscription ends because you did not accept an offer — through our termination or yours — we refund the purchase price of the purchased credits not yet used. For each package, the refund is the part of the purchase price that corresponds to the unused share of that package; credits are used from the oldest package first.
7. Your obligations & permitted use
You undertake to use chatFlow only within the bounds of applicable law. In particular, when using voice-related AI features you confirm that you hold all necessary rights to the recordings used, or have the consent of the person concerned. Prohibited uses include unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, identity misuse, circumvention of technical restrictions, and any use that violates our payment partner’s acceptable use policies.
8. Rights to content
The content you create (e.g. transcripts, texts, audio) belongs to you. We claim no ownership rights in it and use it only to deliver the features you request. Rights to the app and its components remain with us or our licensors. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except to the extent that mandatory law expressly permits it.
9. Availability & warranty
We strive for high availability but do not owe uninterrupted accessibility. Maintenance, third-party outages or force majeure may temporarily restrict use. Local offline features remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”; no particular fitness for a specific purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or specific results from AI-assisted features are guaranteed. Your mandatory statutory warranty and consumer rights remain unaffected.
Digital products are covered by the statutory rights in respect of defects under sections 327 et seq. of the German Civil Code. If the digital product is defective, you may request supplementary performance and, subject to the statutory requirements, reduce the price or terminate the contract.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for breach of material contractual obligations, limited to the damage typically foreseeable for such contracts. Liability is otherwise excluded. Mandatory statutory provisions remain unaffected.
11. Termination & suspension
You can cancel your subscription at any time effective at the end of the current billing period. We can terminate your subscription by ordinary notice of at least 30 days effective at the end of a billing period; you receive the notice by email. In the event of serious breaches of these terms we may suspend or terminate the account.
12. Withdrawal & refunds
Our withdrawal and refund policy applies in addition.
13. Changes to these terms
We may adjust these terms where there is good cause to do so (e.g. a change in the legal situation or in the scope of features). We will give timely notice of material changes; the version published on this page applies in each case.
14. Final provisions
Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions preclude this. Contact: [email protected]
15. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
