Why
exists
I didn't start this because I had an idea.
I started because I was fed up.
For years I worked with software that made my life harder. Three clicks for something that needs one. And after every update, something that used to work was broken.
At some point I started building it myself.
Three rules. No exceptions.
Fast. Waiting on your tool isn't working. You see your words faster than you can think them through.
Most tools give you one or the other: fast or good. I wanted both. What's in here are the best models I could find — not the most profitable ones. Quality before margin.
Obvious. Click the whole row, not the little arrow at the edge. Enter saves, Shift+Enter starts a new line, Tab moves on — exactly like every text app you've ever used. Everything you already know still applies. The app works out what you're doing and gets out of the way.
And if a question is left over, the answer is in the app. Not in a manual you have to go find. Or you ask Flo.
Dependable. What worked yesterday still works today. I don't fix one bug by shipping two new ones.
One tool that fits together instead of being bolted together, so you actually get everything out of it. Finished features. No hedging.
It was supposed to be speech-to-text. It became more.
At the start it was only meant to turn speech into text. Speak, get text, done.
Then came the question that changed everything: why only that? Why one app for dictation, one for translation, one for voice cloning, one for voice notes, one for images and video? And all of it clicked together in a browser, instead of spoken, straight from wherever you already are.
Here you say your trigger word and the rest runs on its own. Nothing to open, nothing to type, nothing to look for. Friction costs you time — this builds a foundation that backs you up in seconds, whatever you're doing.
Today chatFlow makes most of those apps unnecessary.
Ten subscriptions, one per job. And for what? The same features as last year with a fresh coat of paint.
This isn't a finished product
It's a beginning that already works.
What it turns into is partly up to you. Tell me what annoys you. Tell me what's missing.
Got an idea I never thought of? Even better — then I'll build it.
The big companies build for millions and listen to no one. I build for you and I listen. That's the whole difference.
This doesn't have to be for everyone. It only has to land with the people it's meant for.
Let's keep going.
